Welcome back? With so many wrestlers who have come and gone through WWE over the years, there are always going to be a few names who are more infamous than famous. This is rarely a good thing, and it can be made even worse if someone who leaves WWE has a lot to say after they go. Sometimes they will have something interesting, but now someone who has quite a few things to say is getting back in the wrestling business.

One wrestler who has had a lot to say since leaving WWE is Ryback. Following a debut in NXT as Skip Sheffield and then suffering a horrible ankle injury, Ryback became a top star in WWE but never won a World Title. After leaving the company in 2016, Ryback started a podcast where he has regularly spoken rather negatively about WWE. Ryback has not wrestled for a major promotion since, but that may be changing in the near future.

He has something to say. Check out Ryback’s big announcement:

On the most recent edition of the Shooting Blanks Wrestling Report, Ryback said that he is coming back to wrestling as part of “the competition” and promised to defeat WWE in the ratings. Ryback did not mention a specific promotion and did not say when he would be back on television. Since leaving WWE in 2016, Ryback has wrestled less than fifty matches and last wrestled in August 2018.

Opinion: I’m almost worried about this, but I kind of hope that Ryback does not come to AEW. He was good at what he did in WWE, but that was several years ago and it wasn’t like he was the top star. If nothing else, I’d be worried that he would get to spend a lot of his time taking shot at WWE as it is almost all he is known for since he left the company. I’m kind of surprised he hasn’t shown up somewhere, but this could be quite the disappointment.
