WATCH: CM Punk Reviews WWE Ice Cream Bars

It’s a long time coming. The Summer of Punk was one of the more interesting storylines that WWE has produced in a very long time. CM Punk won the WWE Championship from John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011 and then went on to walk out from the company the same night. Punk would later return and force Vince McMahon into negotiations. He wanted one item in particular, and after all these years, he finally got his hands on it.

There have been some amazing WWE products over the years with some of them being incredibly memorable. The most memorable ones are the kind that might pop back up over the years and for a very good reason. People want to get them again and that was the case with what Punk asked for in his negotiations. Now, he had one not only in his hand but also in his mouth.

This week on WWE Backstage, Punk was able to taste test the new WWE Ice Cream Bars. The ice cream bars returned to stores last month after being at their peak in the late 1980s. Punk asked for them to return during his negotiations and even held one on the poster for Tables Ladders and Chairs 2011. This version is different than the original as it is more of an ice cream sandwich than an ice cream bar. They are available at Wal-Mart and other places Good Humor products are sold.

Opinion: Oh yeah that was worth the wait. I was looking forward to these things being back and bought three boxes of them as soon as I could. The point though was having Punk get his hands on them and it was great to see that actually take place. This was a rather charming moment and the joke about Roman Reigns and shoutout to Becky Lynch made it even better.
