WATCH: Chris Jericho Makes Surprise Appearance On Masked Singer

I remember him! Wrestlers are celebrities, but they have a bit of a strange status to them. While they are famous, they are famous for pretty much one thing. Occasionally they will be able to break through to the other side and gain fame for something else, which can open up some doors. That was on display this week, as a wrestling legend was unveiled on a competition show.

AEW’s Chris Jericho was unveiled as the Bride on this week’s edition of the Masked Singer, where he was eliminated from the competition following his performance of Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”. This came a week after Jericho, then still masked, performed on the show and was identified by fans recognizing his voice. Jericho’s appearance on the show has not been mentioned in any way on AEW television.

Opinion: This wasn’t a shock as fans had more or less figured out that Jericho was the Bride. That being said, it is still something fun to do and the kind of appearance that can get Jericho, and hopefully AEW, some attention. Jericho is one pretty easily the biggest name in AEW and it is great to have him out there so people can know about the company a bit more.
