WATCH: Brock Lesnar Returns To Monday Night Raw But Things Don’t Go So Well

Welcome back. There are certain stars in WWE who are not around full time. Those are the kind of stars who are often brought back for big moments and little else, meaning we get some special appearances. That can usually be done to set up an important match later on, which seems to be the case again this week, as a major star made his first appearance in a few weeks.

Brock Lesnar made his return this week on Monday Night Raw, marking his first appearance since Night Of Champions in May. Lesnar interrupted a Cody Rhodes interview, prompting Rhodes to go after him. The two brawled until Rhodes hit a Cody Cutter, which sent Lesnar running off. This comes amid rumors of a third Lesnar vs. Rhodes match being set up for Summerslam on August 5.

Opinion: WWE had to get to the point with the build already and that is what they covered with Lesnar’s appearance. I don’t think it’s any secret that Lesnar vs. Rhodes III is coming next month and now we are getting to see what WWE is going to do to set it up. Lesnar does not appear very often so having him around like this is a good way to get ready for what should be a major showdown.
