WATCH: Braun Strowman Gets Slapped Hard During WWE Dark Match

Does that make it a handicap match? There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that it can be difficult to find a way for everyone to get involved. Sometimes there just isn’t enough television time to fit everyone in and the best solution is to do something with the people after the show. That was the case last week and it turns out that someone not even in the match got involved.

The dark match after this week’s edition of SmackDown saw Matt Riddle, Braun Strowman and Liv Morgan team up to defeat Legado del Fantasma and Damian Priest. A clip has made its way to YouTube, showing Legado’s Zelina Vega confronting and slapping Strowman. As a result, Morgan takes Vega out with a Codebreaker. Strowman’s team would go on to win the match.

It was a bold move. Check out what Vega did to Strowman:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes a dark match feel all the more interesting as it isn’t something you would likely see on television. The visual of someone as small as Vega attacking a giant like Strowman is quite eye catching and Morgan took her out just as quickly. It doesn’t hurt anything and the fans seemed interested do why not throw it in there for a quick second?
