He’s in. There are all kinds of stars in the wrestling world and some of them wrestle a rather distinct style. You can see wrestlers who are built around technical prowess or high flying, but there are others who are better known for their physical strength. Those wrestlers can be quite the game changers for any promotion and that might be the case again for AEW.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Major Title Change Takes Place On AEW Dynamite
The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite saw Swerve Strickland defeat Shelton Benjamin. Following the match, Benjamin’s manager MVP made a phone call, resulting in former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley making his AEW debut. Lashley, Benjamin and MVP then attacked Strickland and his manager Prince Nana, with MVP saying they were back in business. This is a reference to the Hurt Business, the group’s name during their time in WWE.
This could be big. Check out the debut and what is coming to AEW:
Opinion: This is quite the signing for AEW, as they have not had someone with Lashley’s mixture of size, power and technical abilities. Throw in his success over the years and we could be in for something good here. At the very least, Lashley is someone who can make a big impact right off the bat and that should be quite interesting. AEW doesn’t have many people like Lashley but they have him at the moment.
