The night isn’t over yet. WWE television shows can be quite long in the first place, with several wrestlers in action across a good number of matches throughout the night. That can make for some interesting moments, especially if the show is well put together. It can be hard to get the formula right, but sometimes there are even more things to worry about on a given evening. That was the case again this week.
As shown on Youtube, a triple threat match took place after this week’s Monday Night Raw went off the air. Following the show, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan to retain the title. Morgan and Belair traded near falls until Belair was knocked out. Lynch then threw Morgan outside and pinned Belair with a rollup while putting her feet on the ropes. Belair defeated Doudrop earlier in the night, while Morgan and Lynch faced off in an interview.
It was an intense ending. Check out the match, plus what the three did on television:
Opinion: This was the kind of match you would expect for a post show main event and it seemed to go well. It’s something you would see on any given live event card and that is perfectly fine. At least they didn’t have Morgan take the fall here, which would have been about as bad of an idea as the match could have had. Morgan vs. Lynch still feels big, but they need to do something to make the TV segments better. I’m not sure what is next for Belair, but I could see her being next in line for a title shot.
