It had to happen at some point. Sometimes someone needs to change things up to get their career going again. It might be a long time coming or it might be a short term need, but you can tell that someone needs to shake things up every now and then. That has been the case with several people on Monday Night Raw as of late, but one of them has made the change.

One of the bigger and more entertaining stories over the summer on Monday Night Raw has been the Hurt Business, with MVP becoming one of the best talkers in the company. He can say whatever he wants and gets it over, with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin benefiting as a result. The team has been looking to expand and now they have done that in a nice way.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Cedric Alexander joined the Hurt Business after several weeks of MVP trying to talk him into it. Alexander turned on Ricochet and Apollo Crews during a six man tag and then joined the team later in the night. During the VIP Lounge, Alexander said that he was tired of being beaten up and broke so he joined the team to solve both problems. Alexander would then team with the Hurt Business to defeat Ricochet, Crews and the Viking Raiders.

Alexander had a busy night. Check out what he did on Monday:

Opinion: It had to happen sooner or later and that’s as good of a move as you could get. Alexander changing sides has been built up for a long time now and he needed to make the switch sooner rather than later. With so much stuff that he could be doing, it was sad to see him being little more than a punching bag for so many months. This is a big switch and hopefully it goes somewhere for him.

What did you think of the turn? What will it do for Alexander? Let us know in the comments below.
