WATCH: Bayley Returns To NXT, Gets In A Big Fight

Homecoming. NXT is one of the most unique advantages that WWE has to offer, as the company has basically installed its own finishing school on national television. That is not something most promotions get to offer and WWE has turned NXT into something with a life of its own. That includes some legends of NXT’s days, and now one of them is back for a special guest appearance.

The end of this week’s NXT featured an in-ring promo from former NXT Champion Roxanne Perez. Former NXT Champion Bayley returned and confronted Perez, ultimately leading to a brawl between the two of them to end the show. There is no word on how long Bayley will be appearing in NXT, though she is scheduled to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Title this week on SmackDown. Bayley is a former NXT Women’s Champion who was called up to the main roster full time in 2015.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you can only get in NXT, as Bayley may be a star in WWE but she is an absolute legend in NXT. It was a huge deal to have her show up there again and it would not surprise me to see Perez return the favor and cost Bayley the title on SmackDown. That could very well set up a match between the two of them next month at Vengeance Day and that could be quite the showdown.
