That’s one sore losing lone wolf. This past weekend at “Backlash 2017”, Sami Zayn won a big match by defeating Baron Corbin clean with the Helluva Kick. As you might expect, this didn’t exactly sit well with Corbin, who never has had the best temperament on “Smackdown Live”. That was shown again this week.

After defeating Corbin again, this time in just over twenty seconds with a quick rollup, Zayn took a horrible beating around the arena. Corbin finished things off by putting Zayn’s head on the barricade and driving in a series of elbows, leaving Zayn to be taken out of the arena on a stretcher. After the incident, Corbin had some comments on the attack:

What happens when you play in Baron Corbin's world?: SmackDown LIVE Fallout, May 23, 2017

Opinion: Corbin vs. Zayn should be a fine feud and I’m happy that they didn’t go with the tried and dull 50/50 booking concept. Letting Zayn get a few wins under his belt is a good idea and helps him shake off his loser mantle, at least for now. Either of them could win the ladder match and that makes this feud even more interesting.
