WATCH: Barney The Dinosaur Brawls With The Teletubbies At A Wrestling Show In Chile (Yes, This Happened)

It’s a thing. Professional wrestling is several things rolled into one but ultimately it is a massive performance. This includes all kinds of things, some of which are a bit less than serious. You can see these aspects come together in a bunch of forms, many of which are incredibly serious. That was absolutely not the case recently as we saw something that you probably did not expect.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Acclaimed Officially Split After Tense Standoff On Collision

A video from the Chile Lucha Libre promotion has made its way online, showing the characters Barney The Dinosaur and BJ (another character on Barney’s show) brawling with two of the Teletubbies (Laa-Laa and Po) in the aisle of the arena. Barney and BJ got the better of things, twisting the Teletubbies’ heads around to leave them laying. There is no word on if this was part of a match or just an angle.

Opinion: What else is there to say here? It’s one of those goofy things that only takes place in wrestling and somehow, it seemed to work. At the end of the day, it’s total insanity and while it might have had context on the show, it looks rather amusing from the outside. That being said, I kind of want to see how this happened and that means the promotion is doing something right.
