That’s another one. We are about two months away from WrestleMania 41 and that means it is time to start putting the matches together. Some of those matches are either clear from this far out or already set, with the Royal Rumble having gone a long way in helping to build the card. That includes the Royal Rumble matches themselves, and this time we have quite the big match announced as a result.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Trish Stratus Appears On SmackDown, Agrees To Match At WWE Elimination Chamber (In Her Hometown)

This week on SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defended her title against Nia Jax, retaining when Jax was disqualified. After the match, Jax and Candice LeRae attacked Stratton, leaving her laying. Women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte came to the ring and mocked Stratton before announcing that she would challenge Stratton at WrestleMania 41. WrestleMania is set for April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium near Las Vegas, Nevada.

This was big. Check out the setup and the two in action:

Opinion: This match has been rumored for a few weeks now and it makes sense for it to finally be confirmed. What matters the most is that the match is now set and we have about two months to set it up. At the same time, it opens the door to find a new challenger for Rhea Ripley in the Elimination Chamber. That is how the build to WrestleMania starts and that makes for a very exciting time.
