He’s another one on the list. The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as there are now several different spots available for various wrestlers. Rather than having WWE as the only major promotion for wrestlers to go to, AEW has offered somewhere new for the wrestlers to go. Some former WWE stars will appear in AEW and now another name has.

This week on AEW Dark, former WWE star Sawyer Fulton, now known as Madman Fulton, made his AEW debut, teaming with Ativalu and Troy Hollywood in a losing effort against the Dark Order. During the show, he only appeared under the name “Fulton”. Since leaving WWE, Fulton had appeared in Impact Wrestling as the enforcer for Ace Austin. There is no word on if Fulton will be appearing for AEW on a regular basis going forward.

It was a big show. Check out the full episode of Dark (Fulton’s match begins at about 47:55):

Opinion: This is the kind of signing that might be able to lead somewhere for AEW as Fulton showed a lot of potential as a monster in Impact Wrestling. Sometimes you need someone who is big and can hurt people in one way or another and that is what Fulton can do. Maybe this is just a one off match but at least Fulton got another shot in another major promotion.

What do you think of Fulton? How far could he go in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
