Watch: AJ Styles Confronts Shane McMahon on "Talking Smack"

Here it comes. A few months back, rumors began to circulate that AJ Styles would be facing Shane McMahon at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. This might not have been the most popular decision in the world but it was pretty clear that it was going to take place. After this week’s edition of “Smackdown Live”, the story seemed to officially begin.

On “Talking Smack”, Styles walked through the curtain to the backstage and immediately got in McMahon’s face, ranting and raving about how he was supposed to be in the main event of “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Agents broke it up but McMahon wasn’t pleased with Styles said and did.

Opinion: I know a lot of people (myself included) aren’t thrilled with this match but the angle here was solid and felt like someone getting angry. While it doesn’t make the most sense when you remember McMahon was the one who wanted Styles to have the shot in the first place. The match could be fun but it needs a very strong build to get there.
