That’s a bit more serious. Wrestling is like any other industry in the world: there are going to be some people who wind up in some trouble, and it can be for some very serious things. Some of these can result in the person getting in some legal trouble and it can even wind up seeing them locked up for a bit. We might be seeing that again for a former wrestler in the near future.
According to PWInsider.com, a bench warrant has been issues for former Impact Wrestling star Rhaka Khan prior to her upcoming trial on charges of aggravated kidnapping facilitate and interference with child custody. This kind of warrant can be issued when someone misses a scheduled hearing, though it is not clear if that is the case with Khan. Her trial is set to begin on October 4. Khan wrestled for Impact Wrestling from 2008-2009 and last wrestled in 2011.
You might not remember her. Check out Khan’s time in Impact Wrestling:
Opinion: I’m not sure what happened here but this is the kind of thing that sounds rather serious. There is a chance that Khan will be going to jail for a good while and that is not the biggest surprise if a child is involved. Khan was not in wrestling for very long but she was someone who made an impression if you were watching Impact Wrestling during her time with the company.
What did you think of Khan’s career in Impact Wrestling? Which former stars would you like to see return? Let us know in the comments below.
