Maybe later? Over the years, WWE has developed a series of events that take place every so often. While some of them are annual, there are other events that take place every few years. It can be a special moment when those things happen and that was almost the case earlier this year. While the event won’t be taking place, it might be something that is held in the future.

Earlier this year, WWE presented Night Of Champions from Saudi Arabia, but the event had originally been advertised as King And Queen of the Ring. According to Fightful Select, WWE has no plans to run the end this year, but it is something that could be used as an option for a future event in Saudi Arabia. WWE last held the King of the Ring tournament, along with the Queen’s Crown tournament, in 2021.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that should work out well all for WWE if they ever decide to go in that direction. King/Queen of the Ring is something that can be put together at the drop of a hat if necessary and it offers an instant way to go for a variety of stars. Maybe WWE will pull it out of mothballs later, but there are all kinds of other options out there that they could pick from as well.
