It was a bit confusing. WWE does all kinds of things during any given television taping as they have quite a few shows to put together. This can make for some difficult situations as they have so many things to cover at once. Sometimes things can not go quite as planned, which seems to be the case again this week as WWE might have been trying to do too much at once.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Hint Hint? WWE May Have Intentionally Spoiled Major Debut
According to Fightful Select, there were some backstage issues at this week’s Monday Night Raw involving matches being taped for other shows. This involved matches being planned for the Main Event taping being changed multiple times as WWE is attempting to put more focus on their matches for Speed. In addition, as has been the case before, some wrestlers who were drafted to Monday Night Raw were backstage at the event but not used for reasons unclear. There is no word on when they will make their debuts on the roster.
It was a busy night. Check out what happened on Monday Night Raw:
Opinion: This is a bit odd, as it’s hard to imagine that a show like Main Event, which is little more than two matches being filmed without context or any long term planning, needs that much effort. Speed seems to be getting more of a priority at the moment and while that requires more planning, it’s a bit hard to fathom that things have gotten this complicated with such simple pieces.
