Maybe he’ll change his mind. We are currently less than a month away from WrestleMania 36 and that means things should be set in stone, or at least already decided on the road to Tampa. With so little time left, we have reached the point where we need to get things set up and then built into WrestleMania quality feuds. That’s the tricky part, and Vince McMahon isn’t pleased with one of the efforts.

One of the biggest matches that has yet to be advertised for WrestleMania but seems to be almost a sure thing is Becky Lynch defending the Raw Women’s Title against Shayna Baszler. The two were ready to go to battle just before Survivor Series and then did so at the pay per view, albeit in a triple threat match. Baszler will have her chance to become #1 contender at Elimination Chamber, but there might be something holding her back.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon has not been pleased with Baszler’s performances on the main roster so far. The main problem came during Baszler’s match against Kairi Sane on this week’s Monday Night Raw, with McMahon saying that it did not have the right effect. McMahon also does not see Baszler as a WrestleMania headliner, though there is no indication that anything but Baszler vs. Lynch will take place at WrestleMania.

This is what McMahon didn’t like. Check out Baszler vs. Sane:

Opinion: I’m not sure on this one, but it didn’t help that Baszler vs. Sane went on longer than it should have and didn’t make Baszler look all that strong. The match should have been a squash in a match where Lynch had trouble, but instead it was Baszler taking a good while to defeat Sane. Maybe things can change, but it wasn’t the strongest debut, mainly due to the situation Baszler was placed in.
