He messed with it. One of the biggest wrestling stories of the year has been Vince McMahon’s return to WWE. While McMahon may not be controlling everything at the same level he was before, he still makes some changes to Monday Night Raw on a fairly regular basis. That was the case again this week, and it turns out that it was a pretty big change this time around.

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw was scheduled to feature World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defending his title in an open challenge. However, the match did not happen as #1 contender Finn Balor attacked Rollins instead. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon changed the first thirty minutes of the show, though according to backstage sources, the version McMahon presented was “better”. There is no word on other changes McMahon may have made.

Opinion: This is the kind of change that seems to have made things more interesting or at least presentable and that is a good thing. It is interesting to see that McMahon does still have some positive contributions and I could go for seeing what the original plans were supposed to be. If nothing else, we did get a solid segment and apparently some of the credit for that goes to McMahon.
