It’s hard to argue with him. Whether you like him or what he does, Vince McMahon is the ultimate power in professional wrestling. He owns the biggest company in the world and that isn’t going to change until he is gone. That can make for some difficult situations, but at the end of the day, what McMahon wants, McMahon gets. We will be seeing that again this weekend.

Since WWE has been around for a very long time now, they have a lot of shows that have become traditions. You can almost guarantee when certain shows are going to take place and it is almost strange to see that not be the case. Some of these shows are more well known than others and we are about to see the return of one of the more unique ideas. That decision rests entirely with McMahon.

According to Fightful Select, McMahon insisted on running Tribute To The Troops this year, even if it is going to be inside the Thunder Dome rather than in front of live fans. The show will be airing on Sunday afternoon in different time slots due to NFL coverage. WWE has run the event since 2003 and has held it every year, though the 2019 event was not aired anywhere on television

the show has a history. Check out some of its better moments:

Opinion: I can get the idea of wanting to bring the show back, but it is a little bit of a weird situation. Throw in the fact that it is taking place on the same day as the NXT Takeover and this is going to be a rather busy Sunday. McMahon certainly seems gung ho about doing it though and really, how is anyone supposed to say anything back to him? The show should be fun though, which is ultimately the entire point.

What do you think of the show? Is McMahon right for running it this way? Let us know in the comments below.
