Get the envelopes ready. At some point or another, every wrestling fan has debated their favorites with someone. It might be a match a move, a theme song, a show or something else. That’s how wrestling fandom works and there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever. It is a rite of passage for wrestling fans and now WWE is getting involved with the concept in something of an official way.
During this week’s edition of the Bump, WWE presented its semi-annual Bumpy Awards. The awards honor the best of the first six months of the year, including various wrestling and online awards. There were also special awards such as Best Referee, Best Dressed and WrestleMania Rain Delay MVPs. One of the awards went to Tyler Breeze, who is no longer part of WWE. Here are the winners:
* Tag Team of the Half-Year: Rey & Dominik Mysterio
* Rivalry of the Half-Year: Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole
* Moment of the Half-Year: Bad Bunny & Damian Priest vs. The Miz & John Morrison
* Match of the Half-Year: Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks (Wrestlemania 37)
* Superstar of the Half-Year: Roman Reigns
* Lifetime Achievement Award: Drew McIntyre
* Gamer of the Half-Year: Tyler Breeze
* Best Dressed of the Half-Year: Tie between Sonya Deville and Seth Rollins
* Social Moment of the Half-Year: Sami Zayn
* Gifable Moment of the Half-Year: Ricochet and John Morrison
* Social Superstar of the Half-Year: Bayley
* Referee of the Half-Year: Charles Robinson
* Return of the Half-Year: Kayla Braxton
* WrestleMania Rain Delay MVP’s: Samoa Joe, Kayla Braxton, Kevin Patrick and Sarah Schreiber

Opinion: I can always go for something like this because you can have all kinds of debates/arguments as a result. There is no such thing as a definitive right answer in these awards, making them prime for discussion. They might not be the Slammys but they will do fine for second place. Some of these were surprises and that is where the fun from these things tends to flow, so nice job again.
