He’s still got it. If there’s one thing that Ric Flair can do, it’s be one of the most entertaining and charismatic wrestlers in history. Even at 70 years old, he’s still able to go out there and make you care about him, no matter what he’s doing. That makes him a rather marketable guy in the right circumstances, as it’s hard to ignore someone in a big feathery rope shouting WOO. That’s the case again.

Flair is featured in a pair of new commercials for Cumberland Farms stores, featuring a lot of WOOing. The commercials are rather short and show Flair in his robe shouting WOO over and over inside the convenience store, with one of the ads offering a set of subtitles to translate whatever that is supposed to be. At the moment these are the only ads for Flair, though there is always a chance to see more of them in the future.

These are nice and to the point. Check out what Flair has to sell:

Opinion: This is one of those things that only Flair can do. The robe is a cross between elegant and goofy, which gives you a few different ways to go with whatever he’s doing. He’s been around wrestling forever and has become part of pop culture, making something like this a perfect fit for him. The ads are nothing groundbreaking, but they’re certainly entertaining enough and that’s all they need to be.
