You have to keep the ranks filled up. There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE today and a lot of them are moving around from show to show. While the WWE Draft has come and gone this year (both of them actually), you can figure out how most of the rosters are going to look for both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown. With that being said, some of the people are going to move up and down, with NXT being a major factor. That was the case again on Monday.

Officially, the point of NXT is to move talent from developmental up to the main roster shows. While that is the case, there are a lot of wrestlers down in NXT who are ready, willing and able to move up to the main roster at a moment’s notice with little to no time in developmental. Sometimes these wrestlers are moved up in a hurry, and occasionally to great success.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Chelsea Green made her main roster debut, wrestling under her real name. Green faced Charlotte in her first match on Monday Night Raw, losing to the Figure eight. Green signed with WWE in August 2018 and has appeared in NXT since, though never appearing in a televised match. She has is a former Knockouts Champion, wrestling in Impact Wrestling under the name Laurel Van Ness.

It was a big debut. Check out Green’s first match on any form of WWE TV:

Opinion: I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that this is a one off appearance on the main roster. Green is someone who has not been down in NXT very long and while she might become a star one day, she is going to need some more time before getting anywhere in the near future. There is nothing wrong with letting her get her feet wet though, which is the point of such an appearance. Throw in that it helps give Monday Night Raw a little change of pace and everything gets a little better.

Did Green impress you? When will she be on the main roster full time? Let us know in the comments below.
