Welcome back. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and unfortunately they have all kinds of different times off. Unfortunately you never know how long someone is going to be out of action when they are hurt in the first place and the news of how long they are going to be out can be devastating. More often than not though, they are going to come back to the ring at some point though and that was the case this week.

The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was dubbed Arcade Anarchy and featured all kinds of video games and other kinds of games surrounding the ring, making it feel almost like a carnival. There was a match taking place at the same time as Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy defeated Miro and Kip Sabian, but there were a few other people involved as well. It just so happened that we had not seen them in a long time.

Two wrestlers returned from injury during the main event of this week’s Dynamite. First up was Kris Stadtlander, who came out of an alien themed game to attack Penelope Ford. This was Stadtlander’s first appearance since the June 10, 2020 edition of Dynamite due to a knee injury. Trent also made his return, arriving in his mom’s van to go after Miro and Sabian. This was his first appearance since the December 16, 2020 Dynamite when he partially tore his pectoral muscle.

This was a crazy match. Check out what happened, plus the two in action before their injuries:

DIAMANTE VS KRIS STATLANDER - AEW DARK | 2/12/20 AUSTIN, TX

Was it Game Over for Miro or Trent? | AEW Dynamite 11/04/20

Opinion: The match was certainly energized and that is one of the best things that could happen for the show. The women’s division could use some fresh energy and Trent makes the Best Friends complete again. I’m not sure what is next for Trent, but Stadtlander seems to have a feud built in with Ford, which should be a rather nice way to go. It was a cool pair of moments though and that’s a very good thing.
