They went big. AEW All Out has come and gone for the year and the show was quite the hit. The entire card worked well with nothing really coming close to being bad. That’s what you want out of a pay per view, but it can help if there is a little more to it. In this case, the show could have benefited from having a big surprise. It turns out that we got even more than that.

AEW All Out featured a pair of debuts after the main event ended. After World Champion Kenny Omega retained his title, Omega spoke about how there was no one who could defeat him. The lights then went out and Adam Cole made his debut, only to superkick Jungle Boy and side with Omega and the Elite. This comes after Cole’s WWE contract expired late last month.

Cole and the Elite then celebrated, with Omega saying no one could stop then. Then Bryan Danielson, formerly Daniel Bryan in WWE, debuted and helped clear the ring along with Christian Cage and the Jurassic Express. Danielson has not appeared at any wrestling event since the April 30 edition of SmackDown, when he lost a Loser Leaves SmackDown match to Roman Reigns for the Universal Title.

Yeah I’d say this worked. Check out how the debuts went down and Danielson’s comments after the show went off the air:

Opinion: What else is there to say here? AEW nailed a pair of major debuts in the span of five minutes and it was an amazing time. Cole and Danielson both showing up felt like big deals, even if they might not have been the biggest surprises. Debuting them back to back was a surprise though and it was nice to see both of them show up, if nothing else for the sake or wondering where this is going.

What did you think of the debuts? What is next for both of them? Let us know in the comments below.
