Any partner in a storm. As you might have heard, Roman Reigns is out for an undetermined amount of time due to a viral infection. The timing was very bad as Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose had just reformed the Shield. The trio was still booked for a variety of shows, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a partner.

At tonight’s WWE house show in Glasgow, Scotland, HHH joined Rollins and Ambrose in a six man tag against the team of Cesaro, Sheamus and Bray Wyatt. HHH appeared in the Shield garb, complete with Rollins handing him his own vest. The Shield won the match with a makeshift TripleBomb on Cesaro. Here are some highlights:

The Shield recruit Triple H at WWE Live Event in Glasgow: Exclusive, Nov. 1, 2017

Opinion: Despite the complete lack of continuity here, HHH appearing in the role is perfectly fine. He’s a big star and someone who feels like a major attraction. That’s one of WWE’s major stretngths: their roster is so deep that they can throw in a lot of people if a replacement is needed. It makes things feel important and the fans don’t feel disappointed, which should never be the case in an entertaining atmosphere.
