Play to their strengths. There are all kinds of wrestlers in WWE and some of them play different roles than others. Not everyone can be a top level main eventer, but that does not mean there is no value in someone lower on the card. Some wrestlers are there for entertainment value, with a few being little more than comedy. One WWE star has done incredibly well in that area and is getting a chance to showcase himself in a bigger way.

It might be hard to believe, but R-Truth has been in wrestling since 1997 and only started when he was about twenty five years old. That is a heck of a long career and yet he is still going strong after finding a new lease on his career with all of his comedy. It has kept him in the business for a long time now and WWE is pleased enough with him to give him a new gig.

WWE has released a trailer for The R-Truth Game Show, which will debut on the WWE Network on July 14, as announced on the Bump. The show will feature R-Truth asking various wrestlers trivia questions and having them perform tasks. There is no word on how many episodes of the show will be produced. According to 411mania.com, WWE produced a pilot for the show in May 2017 but did not move forward with it at the time for unknown reasons.

This seems wacky. Check out the full trailer:

Opinion: I’ll give them points for coming up with something pretty unique as the game seems to take place over something like Zoom. That is a lot harder than ti seems and I can go for having R-Truth getting the hosting gig after all of the success he has had elsewhere. It seems like pure wacky fun and that is something that could be very useful to a lot of people at the moment.

How does the trailer look? Is R-Truth a good fit for the show? Let us know in the comments below.
