There’s more to it than violence. Tomorrow night, WWE will present its annual Money in the Bank pay per view, featuring two of the show’s namesake ladder matches. The matches are best known for their big dives and incredible crashes, but there’s another aspect to them that doesn’t get the same level of attention. That would be the surprises, which show up a lot more often than you think. Sometimes it’s a betrayal and sometimes it’s a return or even something else, but they’ve been around for years, which sounds like quite the retrospective.

These can hurt a lot as well.

Shocking Money in the Bank Ladder Match moments: WWE Top 10, June 16, 2018

WWE has released a new Top Ten video, looking at the most shocking Money in the Bank ladder match moments. This list is about the more creative and surprising moments in the match’s history rather than the big, devastating hits that define the match. Many of these involve surprise attacks or double crosses, many of which cost someone the match. There are various people running in for interference, but some of them are bout the big dives and spots that the match is best known for.

Opinion: Dang it I really didn’t need to remember that James Ellsworth was a thing in last year’s Women’s Money in the Bank match. That was one of the dumbest things they’ve ever done, especially when they just redid the match two nights later anyway. Some of these are incredible though and show off just how high these people have to get when they’re diving off of a ladder or doing something else that is not only dangerous but rather insane at the same time.

Which of these is your favorite? Did WWE get the top spot right? Let us know in the comments below.
