It was a big year. The year is starting to come to a close and that means things are changing all over again in WWE. The company has had one of the most unique and challenging years on record and now things are finally getting a fresh start. That does not mean 2020 was all bad though, and WWE is looking back on some of the better things that took place this year.
The Coronavirus pandemic changed the way the wrestling world worked and WWE was no exception. Various restrictions prevented fans from coming to the shows for the majority of the year, meaning that WWE was stuck in Florida for the better part of nine months. Monday Night Raw, NXT and SmackDown continues mostly as usual though, and those shows are worth another look.
Remember these? Check out the best Monday Night Raw moments of the year:
WWE has released a video looking at the top five Monday Night Raw moments of 2020. The list includes a variety of moments, including a surprise attack, a high spot, a title change and more. Monday Night Raw spent the first three months of the year in traditional arenas before moving to the Performance Center in April. The company moved into the Amway Center in August and then Tropicana Field in November, where they will stay for the time being.
Opinion: This year really has been one of the biggest shifts from the norm for Monday Night Raw but they have still managed to put together a few rather great moments. It is nice to look back on some of them as there are more than a few worth looking at again. At the end of the day, Monday Night Raw, in one form or another, has been one of the few regular things over the course of the year. That is worth some praise and thankfully WWE has given it some attention.
