Oh I think Punk is going to get people talking. We’re only a few days away from All Out, but that isn’t the only major wrestling event taking place in Chicago over the weekend. In addition to the show, there is a large fan convention called Starrcast III, which will be including a variety of special guests. One big name is a Chicago native and is likely to get some major attention.
The man can still talk. Check out Punk’s video:
CM Punk has been announced for Starrcast III and a video has been released with Punk hyping up his Q&A session. The video features Punk inside of a ring as he talks about the event, promising to not follow a script or be part of a storyline. At the moment, there is nothing to suggest that Punk will be appearing at any other televised event over the weekend, including All Out.
Opinion: You know, because this needed some extra hype. Punk is still someone who commands an audience everywhere he goes, but at the same time this could cause a lot of problems at All Out. If he’s in Chicago and appearing at something associated with AEW, you can all but guarantee a lot of CM PUNK chants throughout the show. That’s a risk to take, but maybe AEW has an ace up their sleeve.
