Welcome back. Returns in wrestling can be awesome moments. You might not have seen someone in a very long time and it can make for some really cool situations when you see someone come back after an extended time away. There are multiple ways to have someone return as well, from something being built up for several weeks to a big reveal to a wrestler just walking out. Another one took place this week.

Back in 2016, WWE introduced the United Kingdom Championship, thereby opening the door for a new segment of the WWE world. Soon thereafter, NXT UK began airing as a weekly television show, allowing even more talent to showcase themselves. Three of the most prominent names were British Strong Style, two of whom were the first holders of the title. One of them has been away for a bit but the hiatus has come to an end.

Nice to see you again. Check out a big return:

Tyler Bate made his return to NXT UK during this week’s television show, marking his first appearance on the show since April. Bate had been inactive since the April 2, 2020 edition, during which he took part in a battle royal. This week saw Bate make his return and challenge A-Kid for the Heritage Cup in a losing effort. It is not clear why Bate has been gone so long.

Opinion: I’m rather glad to see Bate back as he really is one of the most talented younger wrestlers around today. It is almost hard to believer that he is only twenty three years old, which means that he could be around for decades to come. Bate is as talented as you can find for someone that young and it is nice to have him back, as you can always make room for more talent.

What do you think of Bate? What should he do next? Let us know in the comments below.
