To the other side. There are different ways to present stars in wrestling and on occasion, a wrestler needs to have something changed. One of the most common ways is to have a wrestler go from good to bad or vice versa, which can be a rather important moment, especially if it is done properly. We saw such a change this week after a rather high profile match.

The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw saw Sami Zayn successfully defend his Intercontinental Title against Chad Gable. Following the match, Gable attacked Zayn and put him in an ankle lock in the ring corner to end the show. This marked a heel turn for Gable, who had trained Zayn to defeat Gunther to win the title at WrestleMania. There is no word on what Gable’s Alpha Academy will do now that Gable has turned.

Opinion: This is something that makes sense for Gable, as he is frustrated with not being able to win the big one under his old style. Changing things up for him is the right way to go and now we could be in for a new version of gable, who could be quite the monster. Odds are we’ll be seeing another Gable vs. Zayn match and that could make a title change feel all the more likely.
