It’s their night. WWE’s roster is so deep that it has been divided into three different groups. That is the kind of thing that can open up a variety of options for WWE as you can see an occasional surprise with wrestlers showing up on a different show than normal. These special crossovers take place every so often and that was the case again this week, with more names than expected.

This week’s NXT was built around several guest stars, including John Cena, Paul Heyman, Cody Rhodes and Asuka. However, more stars appears as surprises this week and served in various roles. The following WWE main roster stars appears:
- LA Knight – Served as guest referee in the NXT Title match between Ilja Dragunov and Dominik Mysterio.
- Finn Balor – Interfered in the Mysterio vs. Dragunov match.
- Shotzi – Served as guest commentator in the Asuka vs. Roxanne Perez match.
- Solo Sikoa – Interfered in the Carmelo Hayes vs. Bron Breakker match.
The Undertaker, whose appearance had been teased but never confirmed, appeared at the end of the show to chokeslam Bron Breakker.

Opinion: All of these stars made for quite the strange show and not something you would expect to see in NXT. It turned into a bunch of people who are never around in NXT showing up and doing various things, which made for a rather different week. What matters is that the show wound up working well enough, but it didn’t exactly do much for the current NXT roster.
