VIDEO: Roman Reigns Teases Leaving WWE

I’d call that a potential hit. Roman Reigns has dominated SmackDown for nearly a year and a half now as the Universal Champion. Reigns’ time as champion has seen him smash through everyone in front of him and there is nothing to suggest that he is going to be losing the title anytime soon. But what would happen if Reigns was gone from WWE at some point soon?

Reigns appeared during this week’s edition of SmackDown for an in-ring interview. During the interview, Reigns mentioned that his time around SmackDown could be coming to an end sooner rather than later. There is nothing to suggest that Reigns is leaving WWE and no word on when his contract with the company will end. Reigns also gained a new #1 contender to end the show when Sami Zayn earned a future title shot by winning a battle royal.

Opinion: That line got my attention in a hurry during SmackDown and I’m not sure what to make of it. Reigns is the biggest star in WWE at the moment and while it is hard to imagine him leaving, it isn’t like there is much to see him accomplish. I’m sure Reigns would be one of the top priorities for WWE though, and you can imagine how much they would be willing to give him to keep him around.
