I’m not sure who is more famous. We are in a very unique time at the moment and it is not clear when things are going to improve. In addition to the insanity caused by the Coronavirus, the country (and parts of the world) are going through an uproar started by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The situation has caused protests and riots around the country and a lot of people have weighed in, including President Donald Trump and one of the biggest movie stars in the world, the latter of whom is a wrestling icon.

I think it’s safe to call the Rock a success. Not only was he one of the biggest stars in the history of WWE, but he has gone on to be come one of if not the biggest name in all of Hollywood. He has more charisma than he knows what to do with and a lot of people listen to what he has to say. That can go a long way, and Rock was using his stature to say something this week.

In a video and post on Instagram, the Rock talked about the current situation in America and questioned President Trump’s leadership during the events while emphasizing that black lives matter. Rock asked where the compassionate leader was and hoped that one day he would emerge. He spoke about being a father who is frustrated about what kind of a world his children will be growing up in. Finally, he said that the people must become their own leaders if there isn’t one that they are looking for.

This is quite the passionate speech. Check out Rock’s speech:

Opinion: This is certainly going to get people talking as it was a great speech from Rock who clearly cares about everything that he said. We are in a very tumultuous time in the country and something needs to change to make things better. I know a lot of people aren’t going to agree with what Rock says, though there is a lot of things that should ring true in everything he said in this very impactful statement.

What did you think of Rock’s speech? Will he ever run for political office? Let us know in the comments below.
