There’s her new job. Back in April WWE released an astounding number of wrestlers all on the same day. That is the kind of thing you do not see happen very often and that is not in a good way. Things are not normal in the wrestling world at the moment and it is not clear when things will be like they were before. That made the releases a lot worse, as it was not clear where or when the wrestlers could find another wrestling job. One name has found a new home though.

The Women’s Revolution has changed the way WWE has treated women’s wrestling and it has been a major upgrade. While WWE did a lot of good when they started making things more serious, they were not the first promotion to do such a thing. The Impact Wrestling Knockouts division was treating women’s wrestling seriously a long time before WWE, and now they have picked up a former name in the WWE women’s division.

This week on Impact Wrestling, a vignette aired for Deonna Purrazzo, who is coming to the promotion. Purrazzo was one of the names released from WWE on April 15, though she primarily wrestled on NXT instead of either main roster show. This marks the third new Knockout in less than a month, as Nevaeh and Kimber Lee, the latter of whom once wrestled for NXT, both debuted earlier in May.

Nice to meet you. Check out Purrazzo’s debut vignette:

Opinion: This is a good thing for both Purrazzo and wrestling as a whole as Impact Wrestling is another place for wrestlers to go. I know they don’t have the best reputation after several years of not the best success, but things have been getting better as of late. Purrazzo could be a solid addition to the company and seems like she would be a better fit there than in WWE anyway.

What are you expecting from Purrazzo? Who else might wind up in Impact Wrestling? Let us know in the comments below.
