The new you? One of the biggest criticisms of wrestlers today is how similar they are in looks and personality. A lot of them could be interchangeable with each other in a variety of ways, which is the case for both men and women. Every now and then you might get something different, but as it turns out, one of the more unique stars might be ready to switch things up.
In a new video on the WWE YouTube channel, Nikki Cross talks about how she might need to change things after her loss to Peyton Royce on Main Event. Cross talked about needing to look inside of herself and see what she found. The loss was Cross’ first match in about a month as she last appeared in the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal. Her only win on the main roster came in a six woman tag on Monday Night Raw back in January.
She’s not in a good place. Check out Cross’ outer monologue:
Opinion: I’m not sure what to think about this one as Cross is one of the most unique talents WWE has promoted in years but she has barely turned up on the main roster since her callup. She wasn’t even assigned to a brand in the Superstar Shakeup. Maybe a gimmick change is the kind of thing that could help her, but at the same time I don’t see the point in bringing her up if nothing is going to be done with her.
What do you think of Cross? Should she change her gimmick? Let us know in the comments below.
