He could be next. The WWE Draft was only about two months ago and yet you can already see the changes taking hold throughout WWE. By having so many wrestlers change their places throughout the company, it is clear that the future is still fairly up in the air. You don’t get to see many wrestlers move up in such a short amount of time, but we might be seeing someone else do just that.

The biggest change in the WWE Draft saw the New Day split up for the first time in six years. That is not the kind of thing you expect to see, but it did seem to have a future bright spot. It seemed that Big E. would be receiving a singles push out of the whole thing, but the changes have not taken hold as of yet. However, WWE may have taken a big step in that direction.

This could mean a lot. Check out how Talking Smack ended:

This week’s edition of Talking Smack, hosted by Roman Reigns’ advisor Paul Heyman, featured an interview with Big E. After Big E. spoke about being angry and ready to get his revenge on Sami Zayn, who had escaped with a win on SmackDown, Heyman said that this is the Big E. he and Reigns had been waiting for. Heyman talked about how much potential Big E. had and how the things he would accomplish over the next ten years would make the New Day pale in comparison. His proof was by asking when was the last time anyone saw Reigns in the ring and asked about the Shield. Big E. was speechless to end the show.

Opinion: I’ve been a huge Big E. fan since his NXT Title reign and it has been great to see him rise up the ranks with the New Day. At the same time though, it is also easy to understand why WWE would want to push him on his own. Big E. has more charisma than he knows what to do with and has all of the physical gifts you could ever ask for otherwise. Maybe it works, but it will certainly be fun to see Big E. try.

What do you think of Big E.? Would a singles push work for him? Let us know in the comments below.
