He’s pretty easy to do. There is no one in the history of professional wrestling like Vince McMahon. It is almost impossible to be surprised by whatever McMahon does next as the stories about him are already legendary. McMahon can do almost anything he wants, but at the end of the day, he is basically a walking cartoon character. That is someone that is ripe for parody, and now a new hire is doing just that.
This week’s edition of SmackDown was a Throwback edition of the show, featuring a look back at the show’s history. The show debuted in 1999, but the special features of the show included aspects from the 1980s, before SmackDown made its debut. This included new WWE broadcaster Pat McAfee dressing as McMahon would have done back in the 1980s. It turns out there was more to it than that.
Opinion: What else is there even to say about McMahon at this point? He very well may be the easiest person to parody in the history of wrestling as he is so unique in the first place. This worked very well and it helps that McAfee is already such a gem at everything he does. I’m not sure if something like this would get on McMahon’s nerves, but it is great to see that someone can do these things so well.
