Done? Wrestlers go in and out of storylines on a regular basis and oftentimes the moves are for a good reason. Someone might leave one place so they can show up in a bigger one down the line, or perhaps for the sake of just needing a break. Either way, it can be an important moment when someone leaves, and now that has taken place again, this time following a tough loss.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: At It Again: Reported Last Minute Changes Made To This Week’s Monday Night Raw
This week’s NXT opened with a #1 contenders match between Ilja Dragunov and Wes Lee. Dragunov won the match, earning a title shot against Carmelo Hayes at No Mercy on September 30. Later in the show, Lee was shown clearing out his locker before saying he was “done” and walking out of the building. It is not clear when or where Lee will return to WWE television.
Lee had a rough night. Check out the match, his announcement, and Lee on a better day:
Opinion: Lee has come such a long way in NXT and it is almost ahrd to fathom that he will not be back in a big role somewhere down the road. After a record setting North American Title reign, Lee has shown that he can hang on a big level and I’m looking forward to seeing where he goes next. It would not surprise me to see him on the main roster sooner than later, as he has earned the spot over the last few months.
What do you think of Lee’s announcement? Where will he appear next? Let us know in the comments below.
