Nice to meet you. The wrestling world is a big place and there are some very talented people all around. While WWE and AEW get most of the attention, there are several wrestlers who work elsewhere and a lot of them are only waiting for their big break on another level. It turns out that one of those names is going to be getting a chance in a bigger promotion.

One of the biggest surprised from the end of 2019 was the rise of the NWA. The promotion has been around for over seventy years but it has been a long time since they were able to make much of a mark in wrestling. Even the NWA World Champion Nick Aldis said they had gone from a punchline to a powerhouse. This included some wrestlers getting their chances elsewhere, and that was on display Saturday.

You might need to get to know her. Check out a big debut on Dynamite:

During this week’s AEW Dynamite, reigning NWA Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa made her debut with the company. Rosa was in possession of the NWA Women’s Title belt and mentioned being champion. During her promo, she challenged AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida to a champion vs. champion match at All Out. Shida did not respond to the challenge and there is no word on any agreement between AEW and the NWA.

Opinion: Now this could be interesting in a good way. Rosa was a standout performer in the NWA and I’m curious to see what she can do elsewhere. The AEW women’s division has been a work in progress and hopefully Rosa can be a good addition. Adding in more talented people is a good idea and Rosa has worked all over the world. Now hopefully everything works out in the end.

What do you think of Rosa? How will she do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
