Just give him some time. Earlier this week at WrestleMania 34, Braun Strowman had a surprise partner to face the Bar for the Raw Tag Team Titles. The reveal of the partner was a big selling point as it almost could have been anyone teaming with the dominant force that was Strowman. The question was who would be his partner, and it wound up being….a ten year old boy named Nicholas. Strowman and Nicholas wound up winning the match and the titles but vacated them the next night, due to Nicholas being in the fourth grade. That didn’t stop WWE from thinking of him though.

He still has some growing up to do.

Nicholas' unreleased entrance video

WWE has released Nicholas’ entrance video, including clips of him promising that someone will GET THESE HANDS in ten years when he finishes school. The rest of the video mainly shows him posing with the title, looking terrified on the apron, and walking along with Strowman both at WrestleMania 34 and at Monday Night Raw. Nicholas was actually the son of WWE referee John Cone and tagged into the match for a few seconds before bringing Strowman back in to finish the match.

Here are some live results from WrestleMania 34.

Opinion: While I don’t particularly like the fact that Nicholas was involved in this in the first place (it’s kind of hard to take when you think about it for more than a few seconds), this is a funny idea and proof that WWE can have a sense of humor at times. Sure it might not have been the best idea in the world but at least they’re willing to poke fun at themselves for a change. Nicholas wasn’t the best idea in the world but this makes up for it.

What did you think of the Nicholas idea? Is this a funny followup? Let us know in the comments below.
