Nice to meet you. The Firefly Fun House is one of the more unique ideas that WWE has presented in a very long time. A mixture of a children’s television show and the inner workings of Bray Wyatt’s twisted mind, the series has jumped between a supernatural world, a puppet show, and something going on somewhere at the arena. That is quite the mixture, and now we have a new character on the show.

The Firefly Fun House is populated not just by Wyatt, but also a series of puppets, many of whom are references to parts of Wyatt’s past or something that is designed to display an aspect of his personality. These characters often allow for some comedy, but at the same time can be used to advance various storylines involving Wyatt. That was turned up in a big way this week.

This was a little different. Check out what we have to look forward to now:

During this week’s SmackDown, a new character was introduced to the cast, with Wobbly Walrus being added. The character was introduced by Evil Vince as the “Special Advisor” to the Fun House. The Walrus heavily resembles Paul Heyman and, through subtitles, used many of Heyman’s catchphrases. Wyatt had originally had a different character in mind and tried to introduce Pasquale the Parrot, but forgot to include any air holes in his box.

Opinion: There are certain times in wrestling where you kind of have to scratch your head and wonder what the heck you just watched. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been doing this too long or if I’ve taken a blow to the head, but the Fun House is one of the most logical things WWE presents every week and they do it with puppets and a bunch of inside jokes. I want to see where this goes and I would not have bet on that just a few months ago.

What did you think of the new character? Where will this wind up? Let us know in the comments below.
