Mike & Maria Kanellis hope to inspire with the power of love: SmackDown LIVE Fallout, June 20, 2017

They give love a bad future. Mike and Maria Kanellis debuted this past Sunday at the “Money in the Bank 2017” pay per view with a gimmick of loving each other. After spending months getting ready to debut for the company, it wasn’t clear how things would go, but the fact that they didn’t make it to “Smackdown Live” two days later wasn’t a good sign. They did however make it to “Smackdown Live” Fallout.

The pair appeared live before the crowd after the show went off the air and did about the same thing that they did on Sunday. After Maria did her full entrance and statement about being the first lady of “Smackdown Live”, they talked about showing the world the power of love and looked into each others’ eyes again to end the short segment.

Opinion: Let me make sure I’ve got this straight: the pair debuted on Sunday and can’t even make Tuesday’s TV show? That’s not the best sign for their future but what’s even worse is I forgot they weren’t on TV until after the show was over. They don’t have the most thrilling gimmick in the first place and I’m not sure where they’re going to go with it, but making the show would be a good start.

Should the Kanellises be worried about not making the show? What do you see them doing first on “Smackdown Live”? Let us know in the comments below.
