Nice to meet you. There are a lot of names on the multiple WWE rosters and that means that they going to be constantly moving up and down or left to right as the rosters need changes made. That can make for some interesting moves as you never know where someone might be just a few weeks later. With NXT being the official developmental program, there are going to be some moves that surprise you when someone winds up on the main roster. Maybe they have been down in NXT for a long time but every now and then, someone makes a nearly instant jump. The latter took place this week.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Sin Cara made his return to WWE television for the first time in over a year (not counting an appearance in the Super ShowDown battle royal). He faced off against Andrade and had a competitive showing before falling in the end. Part of the loss can be blamed on the interference from Andrade’s manager Zelina Vega, who set up the ending to the match to give Andrade the win. Cara needed some additional help and that was taken care of in their rematch.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Cara had a second match against Andrade but came to the ring with some backup. Before the match, Cara introduced a woman named Catalina, who served as his second to deal with Vega. During the match, Vega attempted to interfere but was sent into the barricade by Catalina. The distraction let Andrade roll Cara up for the pin with his feet on the ropes. Catalina is a recent signing to NXT, who came into the company in August of this year. She has only appeared on a handful of NXT house shows, making her one of the fastest callups ever from NXT.

He’s got backup. Check out Catalina’s debut:

Opinion: This is certainly a surprise with Catalina going from a fresh signing to a move up to the main roster. It isn’t like she is the most experienced name in the world and has only been wrestling for a few years but now she is debuting on Monday Night Raw. Cara may not be the biggest star at the moment but it is nice to see someone getting a fresh chance. This is the kind of thing that could liven up the shows a little bit and that is what WWE needs at the moment. You can’t just keep doing the same stuff over and over again so mixing up the rosters a bit is a good idea.

Do you like the idea of Catalina on the main roster? Who else should be called up? Let us know in the comments below.
