She’s been there before. Earlier this year, several wrestlers were released from their WWE deals, which shook up a lot of things in the wrestling industry. The major impact was on WWE, but at the same time, there was suddenly a huge wave of talent available for all of the other promotions. Some wrestlers have already signed elsewhere, and now we might know where another name is heading.

This week on Impact Wrestling, Kiera Hogan was thrown into a dumpster. As she was climbing out, she found a black trash bag with the word “Mickie” written on the side. This would seem to be a reference to Mickie James, who had mentioned WWE sending her belongings back to her in a trash bag. There is no word on James possibly returning to Impact Wrestling, though several former WWE stars have been teased for Slammiversary on July 17.

James has wrestled for Impact Wrestling multiple times, including from 2002-2003, from 2010-2013 and again in 2015. During her time with the company, she won the Knockouts Title three times. James was released from WWE earlier this year along with various other wrestlers. As she was released, her belongings were sent back to her in a trash bag, which was said to be a regular practice in WWE. The company has since publicly and privately apologized to her for the incident.

James had quite a run with Impact Wrestling. Check out what she did there:

Opinion: This would not be the worst idea for anyone involved, as James is someone with a history in the company and more than enough skill to boost things up. The division has some depth but needs star power, so putting James on the roster again would be a good idea. This is the kind of thing that can boost up other promotions out of the WWE releases so well done if it works out here.

Will James be back in Impact Wrestling? Who else could come there? Let us know in the comments below.
