They don’t seem happy. There have been countless wrestlers over the years and some of them have been more successful than others. One of the few things that everyone has in common though is they all have to start somewhere. Occasionally those wrestlers will start on a better foot, but there is currently a situation where the fans do not want to see a new star in action.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Hangman Page Reveals Injury Status Before AEW Revolution
A clip from a recent WWE live event has gone viral, showing Maxxine Dupri being booed and heckled by fans as she leaves the ring following a loss. Rhea Ripley has responded to the clip, defending Dupri against the fans by saying Dupri is still learning. Chelsea Green responded to Ripley, saying she “couldn’t have said it any better”, followed by a similar agreement from AEW’s Britt Baker. Dupri made her in-ring debut in July 2023 and has wrestled less than 20 career matches.
I really wish that some of you got booed and ridiculed in the public eye while being new at your job. Learning and getting better is all apart of being human. Be better as humans. https://t.co/b3TsAXsRq8

It’s a messy situation. Check out the clip, plus Dupri in action:
Opinion: At the end of the day, Dupri was in a no-win situation here. She is nowhere near experienced enough to be out there in front of that many people, but at the same time, the fans were not pleased with her performance and let WWE know about it. Dupri is a very talented performer and has all kinds of charisma, but she is not ready for this spot. WWE is doing a major disservice by having her out there in this role and hopefully they understand that.
What did you think of the clip? How should Dupri be used? Let us know in the comments below.
