That’s a different place to go. Wrestling can be a rather repetitive sport as many fans will have seen just about everything there is to see after awhile. On rare occasions though, you will see something that has not been done before, or at least not done very often. That was the case recently, and it involved a former WWE Superstar getting in action in a place you might not have expected.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Give Them A Chance? Former WWE Team In Talks For Appearance In AEW/Ring Of Honor
In a new video posted to Instagram, former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle is shown wrestling at the birthday party of a special needs fan. The video features Riddle hitting an RKO onto his opponent into a pool. The event was put on by the Valley Wrestling Connection (based out of Riverside, California) and was part of a full show taking place at the party. Riddle was released from WWE last year and has wrestled on the independent scene since, including becoming the New Japan Television Champion.
This was rather cool. Check out the event, plus Riddle’s time elsewhere:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you do not see very often but it seems like a rather cool setup. It’s a wrestling promotion that is able to come to your house and I can imagine how much fun the fan had as a result. Having a pretty big named star like Riddle there as well is pretty awesome. I’m curious to see where Riddle goes next, as he could be a major star if he can get his personal issues under control.
