You have to keep the shelves stocked. NXT has turned into the it place to be for wrestling fans and that isn’t the most surprising thing in the world. The promotion is built around seeing the stars have solid matches and less over the top storylines than Monday Night Raw or SmackDown and that has seemed to be something people want to see. You have to keep things fresh though and that is what they are doing.

In addition to being a major television show, there is another side of NXT that you don’t see too often. That side mainly exists on the Florida house show circuit, where someone who might be in the midcard on NXT TV is a featured attraction at a live event. The rest of the show is mainly filled up with wrestlers who have not made it to television yet but are on the way. Two of those on the way names made it this week.

This week on NXT, Chelsea Green and Robert Stone made their debuts on the show. Green, who had been appearing on the Monday Night Raw roster (albeit mainly on Main Event) over the last few weeks, attacked Mia Yim after Yim’s match. Stone, formerly known as Robbie E. in Impact Wrestling, stood on the ramp and said that 2020 will be the year the Robert Stone Brand takes over NXT. He then announced Green as his first signing. Stone signed with NXT in March 2019 and has been on the Florida circuit since then.

They know how to make an impact. Check out the double debut:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you have to do every now and then and it can help a lot. Green is someone who seemed to have potential in the brief time she appeared on television and Stone is someone who had some staying power in Impact Wrestling. I’m not sure how well the two of them will be doing in NXT but they very well could wind up doing something special, as tends to be the case around here.

Do you like the new pairing? Which of the two of them will be more successful? Let us know in the comments below.
