He’s still worth something. Over the last few weeks, Ric Flair has gotten into the WWE’s bad graces by attempting to file a trademark on the term The Man. WWE has not been pleased with this as they are pushing Becky Lynch as The Man, meaning a lot of money could be at stake. That isn’t all Flair has been up to though, as he is now signed up for a new deal which could bring him some extra money.

As seen in a new video from TMZ Sports, Flair has announced a new deal with Adidas and plans to help them take down Nike. Flair did not go into details of what the deal will entail as far as endorsements or products. He did mention several NBA stars under contract with Adidas, such as Damien Lillard and James Harden, who he is looking forward to working with in the future.

Only Flair could make this sound so awesome. Check out his announcement:

Opinion: This is a good deal for Flair of course, but at the same time it also shows just how big of a star he still is. Flair has not been an active WWE wrestler in over ten years and was well past his prime by that point. In spite of all the time that has passed though, he is still someone valuable enough to be signed to a deal like this. How many other seventy year old wrestlers are going to be able to say that?

What do you think of Flair’s deal? Will the Man issue get him in big trouble with WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
